You can select a captain, decline the available options, or provide an outside properly qualified captain. No captain is assigned automatically.

You may dismiss a captain for cause, subject to applicable agreements and law. After your selection, the owner/representative, you and your captain are introduced in a three-way group chat.
Prefer to bring a captain or operate personally?
An outside captain must be properly qualified and reviewed under the applicable agreement and insurance requirements. Personal operation is an option only if legally permitted, you are properly qualified, and the required approval is obtained. Choose either option on your request.
